Putting safety first
So much of our life is powered by electricity. But sometimes safety issues can arise – like if the power goes out, if trees get too close to overhead powerlines and when hot or cold weather creates challenges.
Power outages
If your power has gone out unexpectedly, make sure the health and safety of you and your family is the priority. Our network control centre monitors power supply 24/7, so if something has caused an outage in your community, our team will be made aware. Our online outage map is also updated with the latest information every five minutes.
If you notice a fault or emergency issue that's not shown on our map, call our team on 132 099 and let us know.
Vegetation management
Keeping vegetation under control is essential to keeping the power supply consistent.
